Welcome to the Square Enix Limited (“Square Enix”) Press Site.  Access to and/or use of the Square Enix Press Site and any material contained within (collectively, the “Press Site”) is subject to these Square Enix Press Site Terms of Use (the “Terms of Use”).  If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, then you are not permitted to access or use the Press Site.
 

1. Press Materials
 

The Press Site hosts a variety of assets (including, but not limited to, screenshots, videos, audio recordings, images, press releases, announcements, logos, artwork, software, demos, and/or other materials) related to (i) the products and services of Square Enix and its corporate affiliates (collectively, the “Square Enix Group”) and (ii) the Square Enix Group generally (collectively, the “Assets”).  
 

If you are a member of the press, Square Enix grants you and your media organization (if applicable) a limited, non-exclusive, fully revocable license to access and use the Press Site and to view, download, reproduce, and distribute the Assets solely for the creation and distribution of media content related to the Square Enix Group or its products or services and solely pursuant to the terms and conditions of these Terms of Use.  No other uses of the Press Site or Assets are permitted. 
 
You and your organization (if applicable) must comply with any geographical, temporal, or other restrictions for any Assets (including, but not limited to, embargo dates) that Square Enix provides to you or your organization.    
 

You and your organization (if applicable) shall comply with any PEGI (or other applicable ratings agencies’) policies related to the use of Assets.  Failure to implement PEGI or other applicable ratings agency requirements may jeopardize your future ability to obtain Assets from the Square Enix Group and would constitute a breach of these Terms of Use.
 

Square Enix may, from time to time, deliver Assets to you or your organization (if applicable) directly via means other than this Press Site (e.g., by email, FTP site, or other methods of delivery).  Your and/or your organization’s receipt and use of use such Assets is governed by these Terms of Use.
 

You and your organization (if applicable) must not remove or modify any trademark, copyright, or other proprietary notices contained in or appearing on the Assets.  You and your organization must comply with any instructions—either posted on the Press Site or otherwise communicated to you—to display proprietary notices (for example “© Square Enix”) when reproducing or distributing Assets.
 

Square Enix may, in its sole discretion, provide you with personal credentials to access to the Press Site or individual Assets.  If Square Enix issues you such credentials, you must not transfer or share your log-in information with any other person. You must keep your log-in information secure and confidential.  You accept full responsibility for all actions taken by any person using your log-in information.  You shall promptly notify Square Enix if you believe your log-in information has been compromised or used by any person other than you.
 

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to access or use the Press Site or the Assets. 
 

These Terms of Use shall be effective in perpetuity unless superseded by new terms of use (which Square Enix may post at any time at its sole discretion, and which would immediately supersede these Terms of Use and become binding and effective upon their public posting) or until terminated pursuant to these Terms of Use.  
 
Square Enix reserves the right to manage access to the Press Site and the Assets in its sole discretion. Square Enix may at any time and for any reason or no reason terminate (i) your Press Site account, (ii) your or your organization’s access to the Press Site and/or the Assets, (iii) your or your organization’s license to use the Assets, or (iv) your or your organization’s other rights under these Terms of Use.
 

In addition to these Terms of Use, your and your organization’s access to and use of the Press Site and the Assets is also governed by Square Enix’s Privacy Notice (located at https://square-enix-games.com/en_GB/documents/privacy) and Square Enix’s Terms of Use (https://square-enix-games.com/en_GB/documents/tnc).  The terms of Square Enix’s Privacy Notice and Terms of Use are incorporated herein by reference with the same force and effect as though fully set forth herein.
 

This website is hosted by Games Press Ltd.  Please visit Games Press Ltd’s website at https://www.gamespress.com/ to review its privacy policy, terms and conditions, and any other applicable policies, all of which herein incorporated herein by reference with the same force and effect as though fully set forth herein. 
 

This Agreement, together with the Privacy Notice, Terms of Use, and Games Press policies referenced above, contains the entire understanding between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and revokes and supersedes all prior agreements between the parties with respect to that subject matter and is intended as a final expression of the parties’ agreement with respect to that subject matter.
